296 Viaduct Road, Kane, PA, USA
Kinzua Bridge
The Kinzua Bridge, located in McKean County, Pennsylvania, was once one of the world’s tallest and longest railroad viaducts. Originally built in 1882 and rebuilt in steel in 1900, it spanned 2,053 feet across the Kinzua Creek Valley and stood 301 feet high. In 2003, a powerful tornado destroyed much of the structure, leaving only a portion standing. Today, that surviving section has been transformed into the Kinzua Sky Walk, featuring a glass-floored observation deck that offers stunning views of the valley and the fallen remains below—a striking blend of history, engineering, and natural beauty.
